Are you an experienced graphic designer keen to use your creativity to help boost recycling and tackle other environmental issues?

This role will help to develop and deliver communications and engagement activities and campaigns for Joint Waste Solutions, the team that delivers recycling improvement work on behalf of a partnership that includes all of Surrey’s councils and manages a £13.5m waste and street cleaning collection contract on behalf of four partners.

You will be creating materials and assets that provide information about environmental services, stimulate behaviour change and encourage resident engagement. Key outputs will include generating high quality creative designs and artwork for use across a range of materials and through both offline and online channels.

The successful candidate will already be using Adobe Creative Cloud on a Mac and have demonstrable experience of producing creative designs for marketing communications materials and campaigns. You’ll be able to prioritise and work across multiple projects concurrently and have experience of digital communications, including websites and of commissioning print and distribution.
