Are you an experienced communications and engagement professional looking for an exciting new opportunity tackling environmental issues?

This role will help to plan, develop and deliver communications and engagement activities at Joint Waste Solutions, the team that delivers recycling improvement work on behalf of a partnership that includes all of Surrey’s councils and manages a recycling, waste and street cleaning contract on behalf of four partners.

You will be developing and implementing multi-channel behaviour change campaigns and producing information about recycling and waste services. You’ll also be creating engaging social and digital media content including short films, handling media enquiries and helping to manage and develop our channels.

The successful candidate will have experience of working on multi-channel communications and/or engagement campaigns, as well as good knowledge and experience of using all digital channels and updating websites. You’ll need excellent verbal and written communications skills and be able to manage a range of projects and deliver them to deadline.
